Gentle Warriors Academy (GWA) is the service delivery arm of FI. GWA is designed to help adult fathers (ages 18 and older) incorporate practices and behaviors for managing the responsibilities of being parents/co-parents and partners.

Gentle Warriors Academy is the professional development and training curriculum division of Fathers Incorporated. While we have an intentional focus of strengthening families one father at a time, we are dedicated to serving both parents and their families.

Our curriculum and training are adapted from several Fathers Incorporated trainings, research and evidence informed programs to provide a more comprehensive and culturally relevant product geared towards parents in low income communities.

FIRE GRANT

Fathers Incorporated receives a $5M Grant

In 2020, FI was awarded a Healthy Marriage Promotion and Responsible Fatherhood Grant from the Administration of Children and Families Office of Family Assistance (OFA).

This 5-year grant will allow FI to serve over 900 fathers in the 7 counties in the metro Atlanta area.

2Do you offer virtual training?

Yes! Our training are conducted on several platforms including Zoom, Facebook Live, YouTube Streaming and Webinars.

3Do you provide progress outcomes for your training?

We do collect the normal client attendance and completion outcomes. In addition we implement Pre and Post Assessments for our curriculum. We also conduct follow up training evaluations.

4Are all classes free?

We have both free and fee training. Most of our free presentations can be found on this website. To be honest, we have not heavily gotten into the habit of filming our training and presentations because of sensitive participants information sharing and because of proprietary reasons.
